Mitz believed that searching for the truth would support Mormonism not biblical Christianity. She was angry with her husband because she thought he must be looking in the wrong places. Mitz was torn between the love for her husband and her love for Mormonism. Peter decided to serve an LDS mission so that he could find what he was looking for. Peter’s mission experience caused him to doubt the integrity of the missionaries who served with him. Ultimately, Peter decided to leave his mission early because of the problems he observed in the Mission. Peter still believed in Mormonism, but was judged by those in the ward for leaving early. Zach’s extended family history stretched to the foundation of Mormonism and Zach explains how his mother, father, and grandmother taught him to believe in Joseph Smith. During Zach’s teenage years he made some decisions that forced him to live at a state group home. As problems developed in his life, Zach began exploring other belief systems. For a time Zach embraced Wiccan beliefs, atheism, and Buddhism. Although Zach searched everywhere for answers, his life changed as he began reading the Bible.

Chuck and Susana finish their testimony by explaining how God gave them a new relationship with Jesus. Chuck and Susana had left Mormonism but did not have a saving relationship with Jesus although they were attending a Christian Church. They describe how God caused them to know Him through the word of God and Christian friends.
